Dealing with this company has been nothing but a nightmare. Paid a deposit and was told about 2-3 weeks and we would get a fence. After a month gave them a call to be told they would be coming within a week, by almost the second month I was done and just wanted a refund. Didn’t want a fence anymore. Sent a whole email because nobody ever answers my calls. Well they show up the next day anyways unannounced and start putting the fence in. No call, nobody knocked on my door to tell me they were starting, just nothing. They put up the fence but leaving the sides wide open so if my neighbor decides to take down their fence, I’ll have to pay again to add that side. My favorite part is they have the audacity to call me and ask me to pay full price for a half done job I canceled. I’ll gladly pay full price if somebody will answer my calls and finishes my fence. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY DONT RETURN CALLS AND WHEN THE FENCE WAS INSTALLED A PIECE FELL OFF. WE HAVE BEEN WAITING MONTHS FOR THEM TO CALL BACK TO SCHEDULE HAVING THE PIECE DONE AGAIN. NO ONE CALLS SO NO ONE CARES.  THE OWNER CRIED THE BLUES TO US ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY HE LOST ON DOING THIS JOB EVEN THOUGH IT TOOK MONTHS TO GET THE FENCE AND WE PAID IN FULL AT THE TIME OF THE QUOTE DUE TO THE FACT WE SUPPORT OUR VETS. VET OR NOT, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.  SORRY. FACTS ARE FACTS. IT IS NOW 10 MONTHS LATER AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT COME TO FIX OUR FENCE.

Veterans Fence Contractors was recommended by a friend and fellow vet. I also wanted a local business in Port Saint Lucie - supporting locals is what we do. Daughter Kathryn was a joy to talk with on the phone; she knows the business and operates efficiently and cordially. She scheduled our installation to fit our schedule and the city's time-frame. Father Kirk arrived like clockwork to measure the job site, answer questions I had, and give me a quote (Side note: I can tell a lot about a person's character by the first handshake - Kirk is a good man.) Kirk's crew of Nathaniel and Gavin arrived promptly as scheduled, introduced themselves, and got right to taking down the existing wood fence. Although interrupted daily with severe thunderstorms in the area, they went right back to work when the weather cleared. They had to clear interfering sugar cane and banana plants for the new fence and did so quickly. Installation is straight as a good Marine's spine and looks fantastic! We are extremely pleased with the price, quality, and workmanship of our fence by Veterans Fence Contractors. Our fence was well over 200 feet in length with two sizable pedestrian gates and one double-wide gate; all swing smoothly and latch securely. Great job, folks! I had Veteran fence install my fence back in May of 2022 the customer service at first was okay. I was inform that I was going to have double RV gates on the both sides of my house with 12’ clearance. Veteran fence sent over two workers an elderly male and a young female it took them alittle over a week (May 11-May 18) to install my fence.Should be noted that the workers were not professional and seemed lost while installing. Once my fence was completed I noticed that I had 9-1/2 ’on one side and 10-1/2’ on the other then on the rear of my residence they placed my fence approx 2’ into my property therefore losing usable sqft. I contacted the owner he told me that he will see what he could do. Nearly a week of back and forth and he finally sent a worker over to correct one side (9-1/2’). I informed him that on the proposal/estimate it states that the fence will be on my property line. I never received a call back or an explanation of why they could not rectify this mistake on their part. Now I’m unable to park my boat / equipment on the side of my house causing an inconvenience. Be careful do your research I spent approx $10,500.00 (cash) and did not receive what was promised. 4/19/2024 What a generic response I will stay clear and away from Veteran fence. I recieved a call from the owner as soon as this review came up. Then he never followed up. He advised he was going to see my property well I have cameras at my house and I never saw him or anybody pass by. Truly amazes me that a fence company doesn’t know how to read a survey. I understand easements I’ve spoken with planning and zoning and we went over the easements and propety line and I’m losing sqft on my property due to this. Your team came back because I had to call several times and immediately after you corrected one side I was told by the owner that I would have to pay for your companys mistakes.
